PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the transfer passage along one side edge of a tray by allowing a detection element to pass through the slot of the tray and shift along the transfer passage and shift and return onto a new stack, after the last original copy in the original-copy stack in the tray is fed. CONSTITUTION:A detection pin 34 shifts downward as the stack of original copies reduces at first. When the last original copy in the stack is fed from a tray, said detection pin 34 shifts, passing through the penetration slot 44 of the tray. Through this transfer, the operation element 82 for a cam member 50 and a cam follower 74 is engaged with an operating button 80, and it is displayed that the initial stack is completely fed from the tray. The detection pin 34 shifts along the transfer passage along one side edge of the tray and finally shifts and returns to the original position on the stack newly mounted into the tray for reuse. |
