PURPOSE:To attain low coersive force and high permeability and accomplish excellent recording and playback characteristic by forming multi-layered amorphous magnetic alloy film with magnetic material as the magnetic head core material for high density recording. CONSTITUTION:The main magnetic material film 10 allows addition, for example, of two element systems such as Co-Zr, Co-Nb and Co-Ti or W, Ti, Nb, Ta, Si and B for adjusting magnetic distortion and crystallization temperature. On the other hand, for the intermediate material layer 11, a single atom material of Co, Ni, Fe or an alloy such as permalloy and sendust is used, for example, as the polycrystalline magnetic material film. The magnetic material film can be formed by a thin film forming technology such as sputtering or vacuum deposition, etc. The recommended thickness of each layer of the main magnetic material layer is 0.05-2mum and that of the intermediate magnetic material layer is 10-200Angstrom . A multi-layered structure is composed of two or more layers through the intermediate layer and the desirable magnetic characteristic can be obtained when the ratio of thickness of the main magnetic material film and intermediate magnetic material layer is 5:1-10:1. |
