PURPOSE:To make it possible to make smooth the feed of papers having any sizes, by providing a stopper for aligning the center line of a press-force setting arm and the center line of a paper, on the outer bottom surface of a tray. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 4 for aligning the center line of a press-force setting arm 2 with the center line of a paper is attached to the outer bottom surface of a cassette tray 1. A block 3 attached with a press-force setting arm 2 moves along a guide shaft 5, and is urged always outward of a copying machine body by a pressing force of a spring 6. Papers are stored vertically into the cassette tray 1 which is then set on the copying machine body by being pressed in the direction B. Then, the stopper 4 presses a part of the block 3 overcoming the repulsion force of the spring 6, and therefore, the press-force setting arm 2 also moves in the direction B within a space 7 in the bottom part of the cassette tray 1. With this arrangement it is possible to effect a smooth feed of papers having various sizes. |
