PURPOSE:To enable sure reproduction of high quality by providing a circuit that detects and judges errors of reproduced data. CONSTITUTION:When reproducing a track of high record density, reproduction output Sa, Sb of each track is demodulated by demodulating circuits 1, 2 and inputted to buffer memories 3, 5 and detecting circuits 4, 6. Judging is made whether signals demodulated by circuits 4, 6 are correct or not, and sent to multiplexers 7-9 as output S2, S4. The multiplexers 7, 9 are controlled by output S2, S4 from error detecting circuits 4, 6. When judged as correct by detecting circuits 4, 6 output S1, S3 of buffer memories 3, 5 is sent out as output S5, S6, and when judged as an error, output S5, S6 become zero level. Thus, deterioration of reproduced information due to loading of the head etc. can be prevented. |
