PURPOSE:Grease providing improved lubricating effect, vacuum effect, etc. for long time under severe conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, high load, etc., obtained by blending a base oil with benzoguanamine resin powder as a thickening agent. CONSTITUTION:A base oil such as mineral oil, etc, is blended with usually 5- 50wt% (preferably 10-30wt%) spherical benzoguamanine resin powder having ordinarily 0.2-20mum average particle diameter as a thickening agent, to give the desired grease. The resin is a thermosetting resin crosslinked in a three-dimentional way obtained by the reaction formula, it will not melt even it is heated to 300 deg.C, and if it is heated more, it will decompose without melting, and insoluble in various solvents. EFFECT: Not damaging bearings, gears, glass, etc. |
