<p>PURPOSE:To start the reproducing operation in the same direction when the reproducing operation is performed in the stop state, by rotating a switching gear in the reverse direction when a sliding substrate is returned to a non-operation position. CONSTITUTION:A sliding substrate 2 is displaced to an operation position by the reproducing operation and is returned to the non-operation position by the stop operation, and a reproducing direction switching operation knob 6 is in the stop position when a tape recorder is in the stop state, and this knob 6 is in a main position and an auxiliary position when the tape recorder is in the reproducing operation state of the main direction and the reproducing operation state of the auxiliary direction respectively. A reproducing direction switching member 7 is displaced together with the knob 6 to switch the driving direction to the main or auxiliary direction, and a switching gear 12 bites a driving gear 24 and is rotated half when a trigger member 10 is displaced to a trigger position, and the gear 12 displaces the member 7 between main and auxiliary positions. When the substrate is returned to the non-operation position from the reproducing operation state of the main direction in accordance with the stop operation, the gear 12 is reversed slightly. Consequently, the reproducing operation in the same direction is started when the reproducing operation is performed in the stop state.</p> |
