PURPOSE:To improve the effect of crime prevention by transmitting a response message after a voice from a caller is detected at an automatic answering device in a subscriber's telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a call signal is incoming from a telephone line 1, a control section 2 detects it and transmits it to a control circuit 5, then a line closing signal is transmitted to the control section 2 to close the telephone line 1. Then the control circuit 5 changes over a changeover switch 8 and awaits the incoming of the voice of a caller. When the voice of the caller comes, it is detected by a voice detection section 7, the control circuit 5 changes over the switch 8 to allow a voice response section 6 to transmit an automatic answering message. Thus, the sudden transmittal of the information of absence to a call is prevented from an unspecified person. |
