<p>PURPOSE:To attain reading of a film original with high accuracy by scattering the light from a light source with a diffusing plate and making this scattered light pass through the film original to incident to a sensor via a lens. CONSTITUTION:The diffusing plate 8 is loaded to a forward placing plate 2 at first, a lamp 3 is extinguished and a lamp 9 is lighted. Then the light from the lamp 9 is scattered on the diffusing plate 8, the scattered light transmits through the film original 1 and is made incident to the sensor 6 via the lens 5. In this case, since the lamp 9 is not placed on the optical axis, the direct light transmitted through the film original 1 and made incident to the sensor 6 is prevented because of incomplete scattering of the light on the diffusing plate 8. Thus, the reading of the film original 1 is attained with high accuracy.</p> |
