<p>PURPOSE:To improve operation performance by previously registering, for each tool, the tool data file containing the designation of working process and the shape data of the tool, and automatically selecting the tool which does not interfere with a workpiece from the specific file. CONSTITUTION:For each tool, a memory 201 having the tool data file in which tool No., the designation of the working process in which the tool is used, shape data of the tool, and tool installation data registered in provided. When the rough working for outside diameter is input as working process, the number (n) of shape elements of the part is obtained by using the shape data of the part which are input, in a CPU203. Then, the tool which can be used in the process is searched, and the cutting edge angle AC and the included angle AN of the tool are set into a register. Then, the tool which does not interfere with a workpiece is selected in consideration of the above-described cutting edge angle AC and the included angle AN according to the angle and the direction of the shape element of the i-th part which are read-out from a RAM205.</p> |
