PURPOSE:To enlarge a space below the feet of a passenger and ensure his stabilized position by housing a repairing jack when a seat is shifted backward without interfering with a sheet back. CONSTITUTION:A support shaft 5 of a jack 1 is housed horizontally and the lower end of the jack 1 engages a bracket 23 while the support shaft 5 is extended so that its head 5a is fitted in a receiving portion 29 of a fixture 24 and pressed against the bottom of said portion 29. Thus, the jack 1 has the uper and lower ends engaged and fixed to a predetermined position. Since the jack 1 is housed horizontally in a seal box 12, a seat can be shifted slidably backward or brought down backward without conventional interference of the jack 1 with the seat back so that a space below the feet of a passenger can be enlarged. |
