PURPOSE:To provide titled film of good film-forming workability and low-temperature impact resistance, having each specific range of melt flow index (MI), intrinsic viscosity, die swell and ethylene content. CONSTITUTION:For example, using a catalytic system made up of activated TiCl3 composition catalyst and organoaluminum compound [e.g. (C2H5)2AlCl] and, if necessary, a third component (e.g. ether, ester, phosphite compound) a polymerization is carried out between propylene and ethylene to produce a resin having the following characteristics: (1) Mi(g/10min) ... 5.0-12.0 determined at 230 deg.C under a load 2.16kg (ASTMD1238-62T), (2) intrinsic viscosity [eta] measured in the form of tetralin solution at 135 deg.C and said MI falling in the range represented by equation I , (3) the die swell D of extrudate at 190 deg.C under a shear rate gamma=100sec<-1> and said MI falling in the range represented by equation II, and (4) ethylene content ... 2.0-7.0wt%. This resin is subjected to film-forming process to obtain the objective film.
