Supplementary gearbox for vehicles comprised in a gearshift housing (2) a planetary gearing (1) between an ingoing axle (4) and an outgoing axel (11). The planetary gearing (1) consists of one with the ingoing axle (4) connected to the sun-pinion (6), a number therein through the planet-wheel (7) which is pivotally journaled in bearings on one with the outgoing axle (11), the connected planet-wheel holder (10), as well as a ring wheel (14), which surrounds and acts against the planet-wheel (7). In addition, the supplementary gearbox includes a coupling (29) for the planet wheel. The invention is characterized mainly because the coupling (29) is set up, when activated, to connect it to the ring wheel's (14) twist-fast coupling carrier or alternatively with a clutch driver (20), which is twist-fast connected with the gearshift housing (2). The ring-wheel (14) can thus be connected with the ingoing axel (4) or with the gearshift housing (2). In known design methods of such planetary gearing they are connected together in a high gear area planet-wheel bracket with the outgoing axel subjected to high, gearing moments. According to the gearbox in the invention, the outgoing axel (11) is not subjected to any such moments and can therefore be designed with smaller dimensions than earlier.<IMAGE> |
