PURPOSE:To make it possible to evaluate the feeling of paper, fabric or a nonwoven fabric, by impinging a pendulum to an almost vertically fixed test piece almost at a right angle. CONSTITUTION:The pendulum 3 suspended from the pendulum support part 2 arranged to a horizontal table 1 is freely fallen by the electromagnet 5 of a pendulum holding part 4 and a fixing part 7 fixes a test piece 6 to the table 1 almost vertically in order to allow the pendulum 3 to impinge to the test piece 6 almost at a right angle. When feeling is very soft, the load at the free end of the pendulum 3 is made light and the height H of the held pendulum from the table 1 is made low and, when feeling is relatively hard, the load at the free end of the pendulum 3 is made heavy while the height H is made high. At the time of measurement, the fixing part 7 is made movable forward and back so as to allow the free end of the pendulum 3 to hit the almost central part of the test piece 6. |
