PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and to simplify control by unifying truly a line exchange and a packet exchange in a line/packet joint exchange circuit network. CONSTITUTION:A frame of a prescribed period is provided to a communication loop. As for a line exchange signal incoming from a subscriber terminal device or a relay line to a communication node, it is classified by destination communication node at each period of the frame, plural line exchange signals at each same destination communication node are assembled into a mixing packet CS for one plural line exchanges and transmitted into a communication loop. As for a packet exchange signal incoming from a subscriber terminal device and a relay line to the communication node, each signal is assembled into a packet exchange single packet PS and transmitted to the communication loop. The communication node finds out address to the own node and receives, is decomposed into the line exchange signal and the packet exchange signal, and the result is outputted to the subscriber terminal device and the relay line. |
