PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a steam hammer, by allowing non- condensible gas to be present in a predetermined amount or more based on the volume of steam to mix steam with a liquid. CONSTITUTION:A liquid is continuously supplied through a conduit 1 and steam to be mixed is continuously supplied through a conduit 2 to be mixed with the liquid in a tank A. At this time, non-condensible gas is added to steam to be mixed through a conduit 3 so as to be allowed to be present in an amount 0.0001 times or more the volume of steam. The flow amounts of the liquid, steam and the non-condensible gas can be set by using flow control valves. By this method, a steam hammer is suppressed. |
