PURPOSE:To perform a stable control changing a gear shift, by equipping a transmission with a means which prevents a target gear shift change position from being changed in a predetermined time from the starting of the control changing the gear shift. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction signal S1 from a shift selector 8 commands a speed change to a reverse position or a neutral position, a control unit 9 changes a transmission 5 into the reverse position or the neutral position in no relation to a content of the first and the second data D1, D2. On the other hand, when the selector 8 is placed in a driving position, the control unit 9, operating in response to the first and the second data D1, D2, changes the transmission 5 into an optimum gear shift change position in accordance with a speed change map. However, the transmission 5, while it is in operation changing a gear shift, prevents the control unit from updating the first data D1 unless a predetermined time T0 elapses after the transmission finishes the operation, and a required control changing the gear shift is not influenced at all. |
