<p>PURPOSE:To avoid generation of an offensive small at the time of manufacture and coming off of acicular fins due to impact by using a thermoplastic resin film instead of phenyl group varnish as an adhesive that bonds acicular fins to a heat exchanging pipe. CONSTITUTION:Beltlike thermoplastic resin films 2b, 3b wound around drums 2a, 3a are pulled in in the direction of arrow shown by an alternate long and short dash line to the outer periphery of a heat exchanging pipe 1 made of copper sent in the direction of arrow shown by solid lines, and made to semicircular arc by a guide jig to wrap the pipe 1. Films 2b, 3b are heated to above melting point and molten by a cylindrical heater 6 and deposited on the pipe 1. Acicular fins 8 are wound around the pipe 1 from above the films 2, 3 and stuck firmly.</p> |
