<p>PURPOSE:To reduce residual stress and thermal stress of a cylindrical coil by a method wherein a metal cylinder is cut spirally, and the sectional area of the conductor per one turn is increased in the axial direction in proportion to approaching to the ends. CONSTITUTION:Conductors 7a, 7b, 7c, 8 and magnet end parts 9 are formed according to machining from a cylindrical copper pipe. Machining thereof is performed by cutting a groove spirally. Layer insulation 10 is performed to the cut groove to be fixed. Thicknesses of the first conductors 7a, the second conductors 7b, the third conductors 7c, the central part conductors 8 are made thicker in proportion to approaching to the ends.</p> |
