PURPOSE:To ensure the corrosion-proofing for a long period even under severe corrosive environment by applying a specified paint. CONSTITUTION:Tubes and fins made of aluminum or aluminum alloy are assembled, and fixed by furnace brazing or welding to make up a heat exchanger, which then, without a preparatory treatment of cleaning etc. of its surface, is applied with a corrosion-proofing chemical compound paint which has micro- crystal wax as a base with a flux as its carrier blended with electromagnetic chemically inorganic substance such as calcium sulfonate and petrolatum oxide by spraying on its surface or dipping to form a scaled coating of micro size plates having a strong polarity. By this constitution, the corrosion-proofing period becomes significantly longer than those by prior arts, and the corrosion-proof effect can be obtained even under severe corrosive environment. |
