The equipment moisturises the fuel/air mixture of an IC engine. In the mixture intake is a moisturising body (34) with an opening (36) in line with the intake opening. A perforated spray pipe (46) extends across this opening, and atomised water in delivered to the pipe via a jet (50, 52) in its end. There can be jets at both pipe ends, and turbine wheels (42) with inclined blades can be mounted in the body opening, to generate turbulence in the mixture of air, fuel and water.
