PURPOSE:To make a unified block of each of the component parts and enable a response to be made upon various needs by a method wherein a heating chamber for heating foodstuffs and a power supply for supplying microwave to the heating chamber are separated to each other. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 and a power supply part 5 are in a separated condition in a case that they are delivered from a factory. Under a condition in which the main body 1 and the power supply part 5 are separated to each other, it is not possible to turn ON a safety switch 90 and a starting switch and further to oscillate microwave energy from the power supply part 5. The safety switch 90 is arranged near fixing screws 91 for use in fixing a cabinet 2 of the main body 1 to a cabinet 6 for the power supply part 5, and a sufficient number of fixing screws 91 are properly arranged to fix the main body 1 to the power supply part 5. When the fixing screws 91 are fastened to make an integral assembly of the main body 1 and the power supply part 5, the switch is turned ON. With this arrangement, it is possible to make a response upon various needs under a proper combination of both of them. |
