PURPOSE:To supply ozone to the aimed apparatus without fear for decomposition thereof, by forming an electrical field almost all over the inner peripheral wall of an insulating cylinder, flowing air in the direction crossing the longitudinal thereof to generate ozone, and flowing the resultant ozone out to a delivery path. CONSTITUTION:An ozonizer is constituted of an insulating cylinder 1, an earthing electrode embedded in the insulating cylinder 1, framelike high-voltage electrodes 3, provided on the inner periphery periphery of the insulating cylinder 1 in the exposed state, and arranged to form an electrical field almost all over the inner periphery, an air supply path 11 and an air delivery path 12 provided in the interior of the insulating cylinder 1, and extending in the longitudinal direction thereof and air outlets 15 and suction inlets 16 provided in the air supply path 11 and air deliver path 12. Air flowed out of the outlets 15 of the air supply path 11 flows along the inner periphery of the insulating cylinder 1 in the direction crossing the longitudinal direction thereof through the suction inlets 16 into the delivery path 12.
