The vehicle consists of two pontoon shaped body parts (10, 11) articulated by a rolling coupling (12). The engine (13) is located in the rear pontoon (11) and drives the rear axle via a transmission gear (14). The front pontoon (10) is provided with steering and engine controls as well as an auxiliary gear for front wheel drive (16). The auxiliary gear is turned by a pulley belt (15) from the transmission gear pulley (14). The pulley belt is guided through the rolling coupling (12) by guide rollers (18). A sprung tensioning roller (18c) regulates the length alterations.
