<p>PURPOSE:To control a sheet crown highly accurately and automatically by controlling bending forces of other stands basing on the correction of the sheet crown at the outlet side of a final stand, in a titled equipment of a tandem mill with bending devices. CONSTITUTION:The measured value of the sheet crown at the outlet side of the final 6th stand measured by a crown meter 26 is compared with the target value of a setter 27, to input the signal of a correcting quantity DELTACh6 to an adder 28 whenever a switch 34 is closed. The output signal of adder 28 is transmitted to the arithmetic devices 20-24 of the 1st-5th stands, to operate at each stand the sheet-crown correcting quantity DELTAChi at the outlet side of stand by using prescribed equations. Further, at the 1st-5th stands, arithmetic devices 14-18 operate bending-force correcting quantities DELTAPBi basing on the DELTAChi by using prescribed equations. The device 19 of the 6th stand operates the bending-force correcting quantity DELTAPB6 of the 6th stand basing on the deviation between the outputs of the adder 28 and an influence-factor setter 25 by using a prescribed equation. Devices 8-13 correct the set value of bending force PBi at each stand in accordance with the outputs of devices 14-19.</p> |
