摘要 The subject of this invention is a method for regulating a flow rate of air or of a carburetted mixture introduced into the combustion chamber 2 of a supercharged internal combustion engine 1, in which a bypass 24, equipped with a variable restriction 40, is installed between the inlet 13A and the outlet 13B of the compressor 13, and a variable restriction 30 is installed downstream of the said bypass 24 on the intake pipe 25 connecting the compressor 13 to the inlet of the engine 1, means 50A slaving the opening of the variable restriction 40 to the opening of the variable restriction 30 so that, when the pressure of the air or of the carburetted mixture at the inlet of the engine is less than or equal to atmospheric pressure, the flow rate of air or of carburetted mixture is regulated by the variable restriction 30 and simultaneously the bypass 24 is opened and, conversely, when the pressure of the air or of the carburetted mixture is greater than atmospheric pressure, the variable restriction 30 is opened and simultaneously the bypass 24 is removed. The subject of this invention is also a device for implementing this method. Application to all supercharged internal combustion engines. <IMAGE>
