PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image by electrifying an electrophotographic sensitive body contg. a photoconductive material, sticking electrostatically light transmittable particles thereon, exposing an image to the photosensitive body from the particle surface side and electrifying the particles to the same potential as the potential of the exposed photosenesitive body then removing the exposed particles. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 contg. a photoconductive material such as ZnO or the like formed on a conductive base plate 2 is electrified - by a corona electrifier 4 and thereafter light transmittable particles 5 consisting of an acrylic resin, etc. having the colored surface are electrostatically stuck on the surface of the body 1. The image of an original 6 is then exposed as shown by arrows. The particles 5 are electrified to approximately the same potential as the potential of the photosensitive body in the exposed part by using the scorotron electrifier 4 having a grid 4'. The adhesive force between the exposed particles 5 and the body 1 is thus made nearly zero and thereafter oscillation is applied to the body 1 faced downward by an exciter 7 to remove the particles 5a. The sharp copy free from a ground fog is thus obtd. |
