PURPOSE:To permit to improve the efficiency of a fan and intake air smoothly into the fan by a method wherein a conical rotor is provided with an impeller, formed vertically so that whose one end is extended into the direction of outer periphery from the position of an air suction port and the other end is extended into the inner peripheral direction and having a multitude of blades. CONSTITUTION:The rotor 30 of an impeller 23 is substantially conical and is provided with a hub, therefore, air stream, sucked from a suction port 38, enters into the impeller 23 smoothly. A blade 31 forms an inner blade section 31a by being connected to the rotor 30 with a curve from the upper end face (a) into the inner peripheral direction thereof, therefore, the suction port 38 occupies a large space and the air may be induced forcibly. The air in the impeller 23 is discharged under increasing the pressure thereof between a multitude of blades 31. The discharged air flows into a multitude of volute chambers provided at the outer periphery of the impeller 23, guided by a fan casing 37 curved smoothly and the dynamic pressure of the air is converted into the static pressure of the same efficiently during this period. According to this method, the efficiency of the fan may be improved and the smooth intake of the air may be effected.
