The subject of the invention is a device of the type comprising an air-conditioning unit 10 and a fan 16, 18 giving rise to the circulation of air across the unit, the latter being powered on the one hand by an inlet 30 of air coming from outside the vehicle, and on the other hand by an inlet 32 of air coming from within the vehicle. According to the invention, the fan 16, 18 is a double-inlet centrifugal fan each of whose inlets constitutes the external air 30 and internal air 32 inlets. <IMAGE>
