摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the blocking of a jet due to tarry substance reserved at the lower part of a float chamber by a method wherein the jet section of the rotary throttle valve type carburettor is provided at an upper position than the constant oil level of the float chamber and a fuel passing hole to the jet section is made so as to have a large diameter. CONSTITUTION:A rotary throttle valve 7 is pivotted by the pivotting of an external operation lever 12 about a nozzle 8 in order to adjust the area of a suction path. In this case a protuberance at the end of the operation lever 12 slides on a cam surface 15 and moves a needle valve 11, provided at the center of the throttle valve 7, up-and-down together with the throttle valve 7. The needle valve 11 adjusts the opening area of the jet 17, but the jet 17 is provided at the upper position than the constant oil level H of the float chamber 2 and is communicated with the bottom part of the float chamber 2 through a large diametral fuel path 19. The tarry substance, readily reserved at the bottom of the chamber 2, will never block the jet 17 since the jet 17 is not provided at the bottom of the chamber 2 as before and the diameter of the fuel path 19 is large.
