PURPOSE:To know the size of an object at the observation terminal side of a fiber scope by providing at least two projectors at a specific interval at the object terminal side of the fiber scope, and measuring the projection angle of parallel light from the projectors at the observation terminal side. CONSTITUTION:Plural, e.g. two projectors 5 which project parallel light are fitted to a projector fitting body 6 at the specific interval on the side of the objective lens 1B of an image guide 1. The projectors 5 are supported pivotally on support shafts 7 so that projection parallel light from the projectors 5 is rotatable at an angle theta in the lengthwise direction of the image guide 1; the angle theta of rotation is converted by a potentiometer 2 into variation in resistance value, and the value is measured by the meter 13 at the observation terminal side of the image guide 1 and reconverted into the angle. A calculation is made on the basis of the projector angle to know the size of the object body at the observation side where an ocular lens 1A is provided. |
