<p>A clamping apparatus for example, one for clamping a die-plate in a moulding machine, comprises a clamp member which is bifurcated at one end to give two parallel clamp arms (8). An oblong spacing block (3) is fastened to the clamp member by a slotted oval plate (6) and a spring (7). This fastening allows the spacing block to be rotated to accommodate different thicknesses. The clamp arms have stepped surfaces (12) providing a further adjustment facility which may be combined with that provided by the spacing block. <IMAGE></p> |
