PURPOSE:To prevent a white copy from being generated owing to misoperation by stopping outputting a pressure plate mode signal when an original is set on a platen in pressure plate mode, and then outputting an original feed mode signal. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 33 stops outputting the pressure plate mode signal and outputs an ADF mode signal on inputting a detection signal from an original detecting member when respective mode switches are turned off, namely, when the pressure plate mode signal is outputted from an output port. Therefore, when the original is on the platen 10, the original derecting member 11 turns on and the ADF mode signal is outputted frm the output port P of the microcomputer 33. Then, the original on the platen 10 is fed to the copy position on contact glass 19 with the command signal of the microcomputer 34 by turning on a start switch and then copied. |
