PURPOSE:To prepare a cake of sea tangle having nutrition and good taste inexpensively, by blending raw sea tangle in a paste state with starch and salt, drying the blend under heating. CONSTITUTION:Raw sea tangle is washed, put in a solution of salt, heated at >=90 deg.C for 2-3min, made into green, immersed in cold water at 8-10 deg.C, chilled quickly, cut, extruded into a paste state. 100pts.wt. raw sea tangle in a paste state is blended with 5-10pts.wt. starch and 1-2pts.wt. salt, to give the sea tangle paste 1, which is applied to the outer peripheral face of the rotary drum 2 in which heating steam is circulated, it is heated and dried by the heating source 3 set outside of the drum 2, it is transferred to the net conveyor 4, and dried further by the heater 5. |
