PURPOSE:To prevent misdialing by displaying a corresponding number on a display part when a function button is pressed, and sending the dial signal corresponding to said number automatically when the receiver is put off the hook or when a call button is pressed. CONSTITUTION:When one of function buttons 205 of a telephone set 130 is pressed, a controller 110 reports that to a central processor 100. The central processor 100 checks the state of the telephone set 130 and commands the controller 110 when the telephone set 130 is free to read number information corresponding to the pressed button out of a storage device 120 and then display it on the display part 203. The display is cleared a specific time later. The calling subscriber confirms that the displayed number is a desired number during the display period and puts the handset 200 off the hook or presses the call button 202; the central processor 100 sends the dial signal corresponding to the displayed number to attain instantaneous origination. |
