PURPOSE:To reduce the time for analysis and to improve sensitivity with a method for passing a sample and reagent to an analytical column in a flow passage and analyzing an antigen and antibody by an antigen-antibody reaction by regulating the flow rate of the sample and the reagent so as to attain a substantial antigen-antibody reaction concn. in the analytical column. CONSTITUTION:A buffer soln. 11 is first passed by a pump 4 in an analytical column 1 and a detecting part 7 from an injection vessel 3. A sample 16 is then quickly put by a syringe 21 into an injection vessel 31 and is transported at a low speed until the sample arrives at the column 1 and begins to flow out thereof. A reagent 18 and an enzyme substrate reagent 20 are similarly transported at a low speed in the column 1. The absorbance of the reactive liquid is detected by the part 7, by which an antigen and antibody are detected. The sample and the reagent are thus transported at a low speed in the column 1 after arrival at the column till the outflow thereof and therefore the antigen-antibody reaction is maintained at a prescribed concn. in the required time, by which the time for the analysis is reduced and the sensitivity is imporved. |
