<p>Ornaments and novelties (12) are provided which produce music or other sounds when exposed to light. The ornaments and novelties are thematically coordinated with the particular music or sounds. Solar cells (22) power various electronic components (25) eliminating the need for batteries and the invonvenience of battery replacement. Being light powered, they can operate for an essentially indefinite time in outdoor environments, even though unattended. The music or sounds shuts off if light is inadequate for completely correct operation and is amplitude modulated by the light level.</p> |
