PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a power converter by controlling a current supplied to a Royer oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A constant-current unit 100 is formed of a transistor 101 and resistors 102-104. A voltage between the collector and the emitter of the transistor 101 decreases until the emitter current of the transistor 101 reaches the set value, but when the emitter current reaches the set value, the voltage between the emitter current reaches the set value, the voltage between the collector and the emitter increases, and it performs the function as a constant-current unit. When a large collector current is flowed to transistor 40, 50 in every cycle during the operation of a Royer oscillator, the current is suppressed to the set value or lower by the operation of the unit 100. |
