PURPOSE:To attain mutual conversion between kinds of data, mutual conversion between data and a control signal, etc., by adding a communication information processor, communication information processing data memory, communication information processing data converter, etc., to facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a receive image is transfered, control information required for transfer processing is sent from a transmission side while added in the form of image data to facsimile data. Those data are inputted to the communication information processing part 9 and stored in a data memory 93 temporarily. Then, those are read out and a data converter 94 separates the control information required for the transfer processing to convert its image data into a control signal. The processor 92 performs task control according to said converted control signal to call a transfer destination through a center control part 8 and a communication control part 7. On the other hand, the receive facsimile data stored in the data memory 93 are sent out to the transfer destination through an interface circuit 91, data signal path 82, and communication control part 7.
