Spreader

The spreader 1 is designed in such a way that it rests on the container only with the flat bearing pieces 2. With a bolt 6 the connecting means 4 engage in the location openings 5, arranged at the top and side, of the container. In the process, the bolt 6 is driven by the working cylinder 8. The type of construction results in the advantage that the spreader 1 does not significantly increase the height dimensions for road haulage so that road travel can always take place with a spreader loaded on the container. The additional width dimensions which arise in the case of the novel spreader have virtually no adverse effect on road haulage. <IMAGE>
