PURPOSE:To reduce a dead volume to suppress disturbance of a sample flow by providing a pair of side plates with a cell plate, which is pierced by a cell space, between them and forming grooves connected to the cell space on the contacting face between the cell plate and side plates to form a sample flow path. CONSTITUTION:A microflow cell is constituted of a cell plate 1 whose center part is pierced by a cell space 2 and side plates 3 and 4 which are pierced by cell windows 5 and 6 in positions facing the cell space 2, and a groove 7 is formed on one side face of the cell plate 1, and a groove 8 is formed on the other. A sample introducing duct 9 connected to the groove 7 and consisting of Teflon or the like is provided in a prescribed position of the side plate 3, and a sample discharge duct 10 connected to the groove 8 is provided in a prescribed position of the side plate 4. Side plates 3 and 4 and the cell plate 1 are brought closely into contact with one another to form the sample flow path with the sample introducing duct 9, the groove 7, the cell space 2, the groove 8, and the sample discharge duct 10, thereby reducing the dead volume and suppressing disturbance of the sample flow. |
