PURPOSE:To realize free setting of the effect of throttling by slidably inserting a cushion plate in a piston rod and inserting a needle valve, held on the end face of a piston, in a through hole provided in the axial direction of the cushion plate. CONSTITUTION:An annular cushion plate 23 is inserted in the small diameter part 21a on the basal end side of a piston rod 21 so as to slide freely in the axial direction, and the plural number of through holes 25 are axially provided in the cushion plate 23. Further, a needle valve 27, projected from the end face of a piston 20 united in one body with the valve 27, is opposed to the through hole 25 and movably inserted in it. Due to leftward movement of the piston 20, an annular gap formed between the through hole 25 and the needle valve 27 is gradually throttled, and the cushion effect is generated by flow resistance of oil flowing through the gap.
