PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of elongation or wrinkle of an ink donor sheet by providing a guider to guide the tip of a recording sheet passing through a printing region toward the circumference of the platen drum in the space of the supply and discharge region. CONSTITUTION:During the monochromic printing period, a recording paper 12 is supplied and printing is completed while the platen drum 1 is turned one time. The platen 1 and guide rollers 2 and 3 are reversely turned, and the recording paper 12 is discharged from between the guider 15 of a supply and discharge region 5 and an inlet guide roller 2. Even during the printing period, when the last line is printed, the tip of the paper is often sent into the printing region, but even in the case, the collision between the tip of the paper and an ink donor sheet 7 is prevented. Therefore, the occurrence of elongation and wrinkle of the ink donor sheet 7 can be prevented and the sending action of the recording paper 12 can be smoothened. Even in the case of color printing, exact printing can be easily made by the similar actions. |
