发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATICALLY SALT WATER ELECTROLYTIC CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To control automatically and adequately the amt. of the sodium hypochlorite by supplying salt water to a diaphragmless salt water electrolytic cell and increasing or decreasing electrolytic current with electric power consumption for electrolysis at a specific value or below thereby maintaining the amt. of the residual chlorine in the soln. in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:Electric power consumption rate for electrolysis is calculated by a control panel 12 for operating and comparing the electric power consumption rate from the flow rate of an aq. sodium hypochlorite soln. detected by a flowmeter 11 and the electric power value for electrolysis obtd. from a power control panel 10 and if the calculated value exceeds a set value, pickling is performed with a pickling device 13 to maintain the electric power consumption rate for electrolysis at a specified value or below with a method consisting in supplying sea water 2 by a pump 1 to a diaphragmless sea water electrolytic cell 4, supplying the aq. sodium hypochlorite soln. produced in said cell to an apparatus 6 using clean water or salt water and performing sterilization and prevention of impurity sticking. The concn. of the residual chlorine in the soln. to be admitted to or discharged from the apparatus 6 is continuously measured with a measuring device 8. The measured value thereof is compared with a set value in a control panel 9 for comparing the concn. of the residual chlorine and the current to be conducted to the cell 4 is increased or decreased by the panel 10, by which the amt. of the sodium hypochlorite to be generated is controlled.
