A demodulator circuit with a phase demodulator is proposed, which is used to demodulate a data-modulated RF signal transmitted with a limited bandwidth. To prevent corruption of the data contents of a demodulated data signal during data processing, the data signal supplied by the phase demodulator (17) is DC-decoupled according to the invention by means of a high-pass filter (28). The data signal thus obtained is regenerated by a comparator (23) by feeding a fixed reference voltage (URef) to a second input (24) of the comparator and by feeding the band-limited data signal supplied by the phase demodulator to the first input (22). The mean DC voltage value (UM) of the data signal is kept constant by means of a compensation circuit (19). <IMAGE>
