摘要 The invention relates to a method and an instrument for measuring material characteristics of heat conduction, particularly of the thermal conductivity coefficient and the volume heat capacity, in which the material to be measured is heated, its temperature changes are measured, an electrical signal is generated corresponding to the change and, based on the electrical signal, the value of the material characteristic of heat conduction is determined. For the purpose of measuring two material characteristics from the material to be measured, an elongate sample piece which is bounded by an inner surface and an outer surface and which is defined by a longitudinal axis is formed, is heated from the direction of its outer surface to a desired temperature, a gaseous coolant, for example air, is set into vortical flow around the outer surface, and the temperature change is followed at two measuring points during the cooling of the sample piece. The instrument has a heat source, a detector (8) which is matched to a sample piece (1) and follows the temperature change thereof, and an evaluation unit connected to the detector. The heat source is designed as an oven (4) which surrounds the outer surface of the sample piece and which is surrounded by a turbulence chamber (6). <IMAGE>
