The invention relates to a thin-film resistor or a thin-film resistor network which is used in all areas of electronics. The object of the invention is to prevent undesirable influences on the electron-beam processing. According to the invention, structural elements are applied lithographically to the substrate which is provided with the resistor film. The trimming of the resistors takes place by means of an electron beam or laser beam in such a manner that the structural elements are supplemented to form trimming tracks or trimming elements.
