PURPOSE:To enable prevention of wear and seizure of a ball bearing through holding of lubricating performance of a lubricant even if water enters a bearing, by a method wherein the lubricant for a bearing is a fluid soluble in water. CONSTITUTION:A ball bearing 7 is sealed from an atmosphere outside an external member 1 by means of a seal 5, and a fluid, which is soluble in water, is used as a lubricant for lubricating the ball bearing 7. This, even if a moisture content enters the ball bearing 7 through a gap between the seal 5 and an internal member 3 from the outside of an external member 1, causes the moisture content to be merely mixed with the lubricant, and prevents production of a change in lubricating performance of the lubricant and prevents wearing and seizing of the ball bearing. |
