PURPOSE:To suppress excess output voltage with a simple circuit by reducing a pulse width corresponding to the reducing variation in the output current of the prescribed value or higher to suppressing the output voltage to the set value or lower. CONSTITUTION:A current detector 11 outputs a detected voltage corresponding to the reducing variation in the output current. The outputted detected voltage is amplified by an amplifier 12, and fed through a capacitor 13 to a pulse width modulator 10. The output of the modulator 10 reduces the switching time of a switching transistor in a switching circuit 3. Thus, the rise of the output voltage from an output smoothing filter 4 can be suppressed. |
