PURPOSE:To readily assemble and to obtain an effective magnetic path of a step motor by densely securing in a surface-to-surface contact the sides of a stator core and a stator coil assembly when coupling the stator core and the stator coil assembly. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower rotor yokes 32, 34 are secured at both sides of a permanent magnet 30 to a rotor shaft 28 connected to a carriage drive pulley. thereby forming a rotor 36. The stator core disposed around the rotor 36 is formed of stator pieces 38h, 38l, 40h, 40l, 42h, 42l, 44h, 44l. A stator core 47 and stator coil assemblies 48, 50 are coupled by securing densely in a surface-to- surface contact perpendicularly to a stator magnetic path at the side of the core 47 and both ends of the stator coil cores 52, 54 of the assemblies 48, 50. |
