A hose connection for the attachment of a flexible hose to a connecting part (1) having a continuous internal hole (2), the hose (5) being firmly clamped by means of a sleeve (8) which is arranged in the hose (5), is expanded by means of a drawing mandrel and has a beaded edge (9) at the front end. To provide security against a tension load, the internal hole (2) has sawtooth grooves (6) on one subelement, into which sawtooth grooves the hose is pressed by means of the expanded sleeve (8). The hose is attached by inserting a specially designed drawing mandrel and a sleeve, consisting of metal which can be formed cold, into the hose end, and inserting this prepared end into the hose connecting piece (1), and withdrawing the drawing mandrel, thus expanding the sleeve and clamping the hose in. <IMAGE>
